Self Publishing 101
9:00 am - Noon
UT Conference Center
Self-Publishing 101 will take anyone interested in publishing their book through the process culminating in the publishing of their book in multiple formats by the end of the 1/2 day class. Save your money to spend on marketing your book, not on fees to get your book printed.
Bill Morris has been a professional journalist for over twenty years. Since 2008 he has struggled through the traditional publishing and self-publishing labyrinth to publish three books: Hearts Apart – romantic poetry; (2) They Were Smokin’ – a guide to competition BBQ; Knox Vegas – Murder on Market Square – a political/murder mystery thriller. His frustration with the process has led him to streamline the self-publishing process to a set of easily followed steps anyone can use to successfully self-publish their book. He has been an instructor for the UT-PPD since 2008. All of his classes have consistently received “exceeded expectation” evaluations from his students.
